Chanterelle Whisky Sour Cocktail

Who would thought that you could use mushrooms in cocktails!?

If you haven’t yet….That means you must try this one!

Chanterelles has an amazing sweet and earthy flavour, which I have captured by infusing it in dark brown sugar stock syrup.

For this cocktail I used 12 year old Glengoyne whisky. This rich, gold spirit with caramel like toffee apples flavour and tropic, honey notes complements sweet and sour style of the cocktail.

Great to enjoy outside in warm Autumn afternoon by the roaring fire.
